Ever wanted to go backwards down an 85 feet quarry face then abseiling is for you. Most of our sessions are based in Llangollen, North Wales and are generally combined with rock climbing for an enjoyable half-day activity.

Gorge Walking is a fun, safe, enjoyable activity that involves climbing up or walking down a river bed. You may also need to jump into deep clear pools or slide down waterfalls during the course of your day.

What better way to experience the waterways of our country than by Canadian canoe with the company of a couple of friends.

Ever fancied going back to basics and learning how to cope with just what nature gives you. At Safe and Sound Outdoors we have everything from a day taster session to a full weekend. We can even offer one to one instruction for that personal feel.

A bit of industrial history and the excitement of exploring underground. The area has huge slate caverns and miles of passageways to explore.

A personal favourite of ours. Here in north wales we've got arguably the best man made trails in the country. From half day to full day missions we've got the trail to suit you. We can organise guided routes or just point you in the right direction and maybe even join you for the fun of it.

This is an activity for all you speed junkies out there. We use a purpose built outdoor course for your enjoyment. Why not try your hand at a grand prix or just an old fashioned high speed time trial.

Using one of the countries top sites you can have a laugh shooting your colleagues with paint in the surroundings of double decker buses, bunkers and also hidden villages.

Set besides the stunning North Wales backdrop white water rafting is an exciting action packed adventure. Paddle down ferocious rapids in an inflatable raft under the expert instruction of your guide. Your session will last for about two hours during which time you'll experience the "graveyard" and the "ski slope"

River Tummel - Rafting trips all summer on Saturday and Sunday Until the end of september. Grade 3-4 white water rafting on a dam fed river nr pitlochry.

River Tay- If you want to raft midweek then the Tay is for you. A grade 3 river with exciting Grantully rapids.
