Open Canoeing

Open Canoeing is a rapidly developing sport in the UK. Why not experience it in the safety of the canals and lakes of North Wales. Not to be confused with Kayaking, canoeing uses open boats and generally has two people controlling it. We offer everything from half day sessions to full weekend courses where you will learn how to steer an open boat in tandem. 

 Taster session

Come and try, see if you like this sport.
You will learn the basics on the Shropshire Union Canal. An exciting way to spend anafternoon.

 Price: £43 per person for a half day session, £86 for a full day.

 Learn to Canoe

A Two day course designed for those who want to take it a bit further. You will learn the basics of open canoeing from forward paddling to steering with one of our specialist instructors. On the second day you have the chance to refine your skills during a journey on one of our local rivers.

 Price: £185 for 2 days incl B&B

  Canoeing and Bushcraft

Want to try something different then why not combine two of our popular courses. Spend the day paddling and learning new skills then in the evening learn the art of Bushcraft and how to combine the two.
For this course the evening will be spent under the stars under the shelter that you have constructed.

 Price: £190 per person including food.
